A club for sport shooting with historic and reproduction muzzle-loading firearms. We bring together enthusiasts of black powder, historical authenticity and sportsmanship — under the discipline of an internationally recognised sport.
Who we are
Black Powder Sofia is a non-profit public-benefit association and a member of the Bulgarian Muzzle Loaders Federation. We practise sport shooting with muzzle-loading firearms — from muskets and rifles to revolvers and pistols — with respect for history and an absolute priority on safety.

Shooting with matchlock, flintlock and percussion arms in the MLAIC disciplines.
Categories
Long, short and smoothbore arms — originals and reproductions, in separate classes.
Membership
We welcome new members through a clear process. Everyone begins with an application.
